Creating a Chalkboard Globe

 

 

So simple! First clean your globe. Once dry, outline the continents with fabric "puff paint"

 

 

Once dry mix one tablespoon of unsanded tile grout to one cup of regular latex paint. Using a foam brush, paint and spin…and paint and spin.

 

When dry, outline your “ridges” created by the “puff paint” with chalk. You can use this as a teaching tool…or a unique home decor item!

Use caution in selecting these colors in more than just underpinnings, you do not want to invest in an item like an Olympian Blue pea-coat that you will be tired of by next year!
